Further guidance re advertisement:
 The address to which applications should be sent. This may be postal/electronic;
 to whom the applications are addressed Chairperson / Name of Chairperson;
o      if applications are by email – no need for postal address of chairperson;
 whether a C.V. or Agreed Standardised Application Form is required (not both);
o      Agreed Standardised Application Forms are available on cpsma.ie;
             Teachers:               APPLICATION FORM FOR TEACHING POST
             Deputy Principal: APPLICATION FORM FOR PRIMARY PRINCIPALSHIP AND DEPUTY PRINCIPALSHIP (OPEN                     COMPETITION)  
o      Certificate in Religious Education Requirement;           
         It is expected that applicants will have clear understanding of and a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the                   school. Applicants must hold a certificate to teach Religious Education.
          A copy of this certificate should be requested and be submitted with the application.
 that a minimum of 3 applications are required for the process to proceed;
 closing time e.g. 3 o'clock on selected closing date;
 ask that Teacher/Deputy Principal Application 202x be written on front of envelope. In the case of
online applications insert
Teacher/Deputy Proncipal Application 202x into the subject line;
 For Teachers - You may state that an internal panel of suitable candidates will be set up following interviews;
. For Deputy Principals - Do not state that an internal 
panel of suitable candidates will be set up following interviews;
 If you opt for online applications you must create an email address specifically for this purpose – only you and the Interview Board can access the applications.

Deputy Principal: One needs to reference the roles and responsibilities of the Deputy Principal by referring to the four domains of leadership and management as specified in Circular 0044/2019.
